Join me on a delightful holiday in one of North Devon’s most beautiful villages, Lynmouth, which was named “Little Switzerland” by the Victorians.
I will show you how to paint stunning places such as the Valley of The Rocks, the beautiful Watersmeet, Lynmouth Harbour and more, each capturing amazing light and atmosphere of the stunning locations in the area. All abilities welcome. The course caters for watercolours and acrylics.

Come and paint the beautiful Wye Valley with me in watercolours or acrylics.
We will paint Tintern Abbey, the River Wye, the surrounding countryside plus areas around Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye including castles, bridges, water, reflections, trees and farm buildings. All abilities welcome.

2-Day Bold & Loose Flower-painting course in Watercolour. N.B. This is not botanical illustration.
A two-day indoor course for painters of all abilities. Students will focus on the importance of light, contrast, tone and colour as I teach by step-by-step demonstrations. Students will develop a loose technique to achieve their finished painting style.
Arrival: Sunday 21st Oct. for evening meal followed by a painting demonstration, paint 22nd & 23rd Oct. departing later that afternoon.
£170.00 for tuition and lunch. £340.00 for tuition, lunch, bed & breakfast and evening meal (2 nights, 2 days single occupancy double en-suite) discount for sharing (apx 10%) There are twin beds as well as doubles. Particular attention will be given to the importance of light, tone and contrast in landscape painting as students learn to overcome and avoid common mistakes and painting problems.
