Lake District 13th - 17th October
Arrive Glenridding Hotel, Glenridding, Ullswater, Monday 13th October, painting 14th -16th and departing after breakfast on Friday 17th October. Outdoor based if weather permits. Limited to 10 painters only, non-painting partners welcome. Some painting experience is an advantage but not essential.
Prices include B&B, all tuition, tea/coffee, 3-course dinner and coffee, and use of all leisure facilities. (There is a swimming pool in the hotel)

S.W.France 16th - 23rd May, 2009
At the beautiful Le Roc farmhouse set in 50 acres of land, near a Bastide village not far from Albi. Wonderful views, large saline pool, great food & wine. Tuition for all levels, non-painting partners welcome.
Whether unspoilt rolling countryside, enchanting bastide villages or busy local markets are your pleasure, this area has something for everyone - to inspire and stimulate. The world's largest collection of Toulouse Lautrec`s work can be found in Albi, the Goya museum in Castres, an extensive collection of the works of Ingres in Montauban and locally the Château de Foucaud in Gaillac regularly exhibits the work of famous artists.
This course is for all abilities in all mediums, though some painting experience is an advantage.
Outdoor based we will go to appropriate places nearby and paint on site. There will also be some painting in the studio.
Prices for painters from £800.00, non-painters: £700.00.

Cheddar Gorge & Mendip Hills, 22nd - 26th June, 2009
The holiday is for every ability and takes place at the Lyncombe Lodge Hotel at Churchill which is on the edge of the Mendip Hills and has a "mountain lodge" feel to it, nestling on the hillside amongst 230 acres of woodland with stunning views across the surrounding countryside. There are plenty of spots to paint the woodlands, farm tracks, farm buildings or the distant countryside. The hotel offers luxury accommodation with 14 en-suite rooms and TV in each room and has function rooms, a garden room and plenty of grounds in which to paint.

Pear Tree Farm, Nr.Matlock, Derbyshire.
"The Landscape in Watercolour" 29th June - 2nd July, 2009
This course is for every ability who wish to improve and learn more. Particular attention will be given to the importance of light, tone and contrast, and how to apply these to painting in general.
Weather permitting this will be outdoor based, going to appropriate places nearby and painting on site.
The course will also cover overcoming common mistakes and painting problems people may have. If the weather is poor we will work in the studio from a variety of sources in a workshop situation. If you wish to buy any painting equipment or materials from Jeremy, you can do so during or after the course.

"Flowers in Watercolour" 19th - 20th August, 2009
This 2-day course is indoor based and is for painters of all abilities who wish to improve their loose technique. There will be step-by-step demonstrations enabling you to build a picture from beginning to end. You will learn about the importance of light, contrast, colour, and tone, and how to bring all these elements together within flower painting. This is not Botanical Illustration but painting in a more loose, spontaneous way.
